How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your LoadFocus account at any time. Deletion is turned on per account when you ask for it, and then you delete the account yourself, so nobody else can do it for you by mistake.
1. Ask us to turn on deletion
Email contact@loadfocus.com from the address on your account and ask to delete it. We turn on Delete account for your account and email you when it is ready.
2. Before you delete
- Paid plans: move every paid plan to the free plan first, in Billing & Usage, then Plan. The delete screen lists any plan that is still paid.
- Teams you own: if a team you own has other members, remove them first. A team cannot be handed over to someone else.
3. Delete your account
- Log in and open your Account settings.
- Open Your data. In the Delete account section, press Delete my account.
- In the window that opens, confirm with your password. If you signed up with Google, re-authenticate with Google instead.
- Type your email address, tick I understand this cannot be undone, and press Delete my account.
You are logged out straight away, and we send you an email to confirm the deletion.
What happens when you delete your account
- At once: your sign-in, API keys and connected AI assistants stop working, and every session is logged out.
- Within the hour: the scheduled tests and monitors of the teams you own alone stop.
- Other teams: you leave every team you are a member of. Schedules you created there pause, and their owners are told. Tests, notes and results you added to someone else's team stay with that team.
- Your data: the tests, results and settings of the teams you owned alone stay stored for now and will be removed later.
What we keep
- Your invoices, payment records and billing details, for tax and accounting. Our payment provider, Stripe, keeps your customer record so those invoices stay valid.
- A record of the deletion, to handle payment disputes and fraud.
- A one-way code made from your email address, with a note of which free trials you used, and a list of the websites load tested on free and trial plans. The code means the same address cannot be used for a new account unless you ask support to unblock it, and it gets no second free trial.
Our privacy policy explains what we keep and why.
Changed your mind?
Nothing is deleted until you press Delete my account. If you change your mind before that, do nothing, or ask us to turn the option off again. After deletion, contact contact@loadfocus.com.
