AI Credits

Overview

AI credits are the currency for generating AI-powered analyses of your load test results. Each analysis consumes 1 credit, whether from a LoadFocus native load test or an Apache JMeter test.

There are two sources of AI credits:

  • Plan credits — included with every LoadFocus plan
  • Purchased credit packs — additional credits you can buy when plan credits run out

Plan Credits

Every LoadFocus plan — including the free plan — includes 3 AI credits on a rolling 30-day window.

Credits are not reset on a fixed date. Instead, each credit becomes available again 30 days after it was used. For example, if you use credits on March 1, March 15, and March 25, they become available again on March 31, April 14, and April 24 respectively.

Key details:

  • Plan credits are always consumed before purchased credits
  • The 3 credits are shared across both Load Testing and JMeter Testing (single pool)
  • Free plan users receive 3 plan credits but cannot purchase additional credit packs

When your plan credits are used up, you can purchase credit packs for continued access. Three tiers are available:

  2. Click the Buy AI Credits button.
  3. Select a credit pack and a saved payment card.
  4. Confirm your purchase.

  • An active paid Load Testing plan (not a trial)
  • A saved payment card on file
  • Up to 10 credit pack purchases per day

How Credits Are Consumed

Each time you generate an AI analysis, 1 credit is consumed. The system uses credits in this order:

  1. Plan credits first — from your rolling 30-day allowance
  2. Purchased credits second — from the pack closest to expiration (so newer packs keep their full validity)

When all credits are exhausted, a notification appears prompting you to purchase more. You cannot generate new analyses until you have available credits.

Credit Expiration

  • Plan credits operate on a rolling 30-day window — each credit becomes available again 30 days after use
  • Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the purchase date
  • The pack closest to expiration is always consumed first, preserving the validity of newer packs
  • Expired credits cannot be recovered

Checking Your Balance

You can check your AI credit balance in two places:

  • AI Analyses page — the credits progress bar at the top shows how many credits you have used versus your total available credits
  • Account Plan page — the AI Credits section shows your plan credits and purchased credits separately, including the nearest expiration date for purchased packs

Team Credits

On team plans, AI credits work as follows:

  • The team owner is the only member who can purchase credit packs
  • Purchased credits are shared across all team members
  • Any team member can use credits to generate analyses
  • Plan credits are counted per team, not per individual member
