Weekly Report Email & Notifications
Every Monday, LoadFocus sends a Page Speed weekly report: last week's scores, Core Web Vitals and alerts for your team's tests and real user monitoring sites, in one email. There is nothing to set up. This guide explains what is in it, who gets it and how to turn it off.
When it is sent
The report goes out on Mondays from 07:00 UTC. It covers the last full week, Monday to Sunday in UTC, and compares it with the week before. The subject reads "[LoadFocus] Page Speed weekly report:" followed by the dates.
A team only gets a report when there is something to report: at least one lab test run that week, or page views on a real user monitoring site. A quiet week means no email.
Who receives it
Each person gets their own copy:
- the team owner,
- every team member with access to Page Speed Monitoring.
Members who only have access to other services do not get it. To change who has access, see Teams. If you are in several teams that used Page Speed that week, you get one report per team.
What the report contains
It starts with a short summary, for example "3 tests ran 42 times last week, 1 score dropped by 5 points or more." and the number of page views measured on your sites. The team name is shown when you gave the team a name.
Lab tests lists every test that ran last week:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Test | The test name and device, linked to its results |
| Score | The median performance score of last week's runs |
| Change | The difference from the week before, or "new" if it did not run then |
| LCP, CLS, TBT | The median values of last week's runs |
| Runs | How many times it ran |
| Alerts | How many alert checks failed |
The tests with the biggest drop come first. The email lists up to 20 tests and links to your dashboard for the rest.
Real users (75th percentile) lists every RUM site with page views last week: Page views, LCP, INP and CLS at the 75th percentile. Under each value you see last week's number, for example "was 2.6 s". The busiest sites come first.
The email ends with an Open your dashboard button and a link to your email settings. The report is in English.
Turn the weekly report off
- In Page Speed Monitoring, open the account menu in the top bar and click Notifications. The "email settings" link at the bottom of every weekly report opens the same page.
- On Email Notifications, turn off Weekly report.
The change saves right away and you see Saved. The setting belongs to your email address, so it applies to every team you are in. The other members keep getting their copy.
The other email settings
The Email Notifications page has three switches. All of them are on until you turn them off.
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Scheduling reminders | A weekly reminder when monitor scheduling is disabled on the Free plan |
| Usage limit emails | An email when a scheduled check is skipped because you reached your plan's daily or monthly test limit |
| Weekly report | The Monday report described above |
Turning off Usage limit emails does not change the limits. Checks are still skipped, you just stop getting the email about it.
Alert emails are not on this page. You choose where each alert sends its message when you set up the alert. See Alert configuration.
