Connect LoadFocus to Claude - MCP Setup

Connect LoadFocus to Claude in a couple of minutes.

Claude (web)

  1. Open Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Paste the LoadFocus MCP URL: https://mcp.loadfocus.com/api
  3. Sign in to LoadFocus when prompted and approve the requested access.
  4. Start a chat and ask Claude to run a test or check an endpoint.

Claude Desktop

Add the server to your Claude Desktop config:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "loadfocus": {
      "url": "https://mcp.loadfocus.com/api"
    }
  }
}
Free signup is enough to connect. Reading your tests and monitors works on any plan; running tests requires a paid plan.

About the API key

The MCP authenticates with your existing LoadFocus API key (the same full-access key used by the CLI and CI). If you had none, connecting created one for you.

You can rotate it anytime (this also rotates it for CLI/CI use) at /account/api-keys

Disconnecting

Disconnecting the connector in Claude, or revoking it here, stops new tool calls. The API key persists until you rotate it. Manage connections at /account/mcp-connections
