What was CloudMonix?
CloudMonix was a cloud monitoring and automation platform with self-healing and auto-scaling. It was strongest on Microsoft Azure, but it also monitored Windows and Linux servers and some AWS services such as Amazon S3. Pricing was based on the number of resources monitored.
CloudMonix reached End of Life and End of Service on August 31, 2024, and the platform is no longer accessible. If you used it, you need a replacement for two separate jobs: monitoring, and the automated remediation that ran on top of it.
What to use instead of CloudMonix
- Auto-scaling and self-healing. Move these rules to native Azure tooling (autoscale settings, Azure Monitor alerts with action groups) or another automation platform. LoadFocus does not do auto-remediation.
- Server and Azure resource metrics. Azure Monitor covers Azure resources natively; vendor-neutral tools such as Datadog or New Relic cover mixed estates.
- Website and API availability checks. LoadFocus API monitoring runs scheduled multi-step HTTP checks with assertions and alerts from 25+ regions.
- Load testing and page speed. LoadFocus runs JMeter and k6 load tests and Lighthouse page speed monitoring on the same account.

Moving your checks to LoadFocus
- List what CloudMonix was doing for you: which resources it watched, which alerts fired, and which automation rules ran.
- Move automation first. Recreate auto-scaling and restart rules in Azure or your automation tool, since nothing replaces them automatically.

Is CloudMonix still available?
No. CloudMonix announced that it would reach End of Life and End of Service on August 31, 2024, after which the platform was no longer accessible. It cannot be bought or used today.
Can LoadFocus replace CloudMonix?
For website and API monitoring, yes, and it adds load testing and page speed monitoring. LoadFocus does not monitor Azure resources from the inside and does not do auto-remediation, so move those jobs to Azure Monitor or another infrastructure tool.
